The Paras training regime and the SAS selection process are two of the hardest British military tests and Des knows about both. In his latest book, 'SAS: My Trial by Trial' Des shares all about the gruelling tests of both the Paras and SAS, having undergone SAS selection twice.
In the Paras, Des was a certified physical training instructor (PTI) for 1st Battalion (1 Para) laying the foundation for his expertise in fitness. After passing the SAS selection process, Des’ commitment to physical excellence led him to become the unarmed combat and PTI for the special forces and lived by the ethos "train hard, fight easy".
Des works with individuals across all fitness levels.
